My Name is Asad Mehmood Shah. I am a software engineer having more than 18 years of experience working in the software industry. I have contributed to domains like Fin-Tech, CAD/CAM, Printing solutions, Variable data publishing, Business process management and Image processing. Writing code and debugging it to find more and more about little and little is something which I always liked. CPU, memory processing, compilers, debuggers, performance analysis, cross-platform development are among the primary interests for me.

I have got extensive experience writing professional software in C/C++. I wrote my first C++ program in Borland Turbo C++ 3.0 and as of today, I have worked with almost all the versions of C++ i.e. C++ 98/11/14/17/20 using several IDEs. My expertise includes working in STL, boost libraries, optimizations, cryptography, OOPS, design patterns, TDD, multithreading, CMAKE, Linux system programming.

With this blog I hope to share knowledge. My aim is to make coding an exciting and a rewarding experience for you all. I hope to post the to-dos; and how-to which I have learned in my professional life. I enjoy trekking, climbing, and hiking in the Karakoram and Himalayas Mountain range in Asia. In my free time I can be found cycling, jogging, or simply hanging out with friends.
